Just Dive CIC is a charitable, volunteer-led organisation based in Renfrewshire, where more than 40% of children leave primary school unable to swim 25 metres. In many families, swimming isn’t passed down — not because parents don’t care, but because they were never given access themselves. Some of our children have never stepped foot in a pool before. Others come to us with additional needs, trauma, fear, or anxiety. Every space we offer is an opportunity — and often, a lifeline.

We are not a standard swim school. We are a purpose-driven CIC founded on lived experience and a shared belief that swimming and water-based therapies should be accessible to all. We've personally invested over £150,000 into Just Dive CIC without taking a single wage. Our team continues to give time, energy, and expertise because we believe in what we do — but now, the organisation must begin to sustain itself. Every booking helps us continue offering sessions to those who need it most.

By booking with us, you’re not just securing a session for yourself or your child — you’re helping to fund access for someone else. These Terms & Conditions reflect our mission: to treat every place with fairness, compassion, and community care.




Holidays and Term Dates

All term dates and scheduled holidays will be advised at the time of booking and at the start of each term. These dates are specific to Just Dive CIC HQ and the day of booking.



Instructors and Timetable

Just Dive CIC aims to provide consistency in instructors; however, due to training, illness, or holiday cover, instructors may change. We reserve the right to make these changes without prior notification. Just Dive CIC also reserves the right to amend or withdraw classes from the timetable due to business or staffing requirements.



Payment Collection

Our preferred payment methods are bank transfer or payment through Class4Kids. We do not accept PayPal or Direct Debit payments.



Trial Sessions & Pay-As-You-Go Policy

Just Dive CIC does not offer trial sessions or pay-as-you-go lessons. Our pricing is structured to provide the best possible rate for block bookings, ensuring affordability while maintaining small class sizes. Pay-as-you-go bookings often result in last-minute cancellations, which means a slot is wasted that could have been used by another swimmer. If you wish to observe a session before booking, you may request to view an existing class. This must be arranged in advance.



Block Bookings, Course Structure & Payments

All block bookings must be paid in advance before the term begins to receive the discounted rate. The full term consists of 19 weeks, structured as:

  • 8-week block: Skills & Progression
  • 8-week block: Confidence & Consolidation
  • 3-week block: Graduation, Assessment & Transition

You are committing to the full 19-week term, but payments are structured across the three blocks. Once a block is booked, the full slot must be purchased. We cannot fill a slot once the block has been reserved, so partial payments or refunds for missed sessions are not available. Partial payment plans may be considered in specific circumstances — please contact us to discuss options.

Returning participants are offered a 48-hour priority booking window at the end of each term.




Referral Discounts

Refer a friend and receive a £10 discount off your next term. The referred friend must be a new Just Dive CIC HQ customer and have completed their payment before your next term’s start date. One referral discount applies per term.



Refunds and Cancellations

No refunds once a term has started. Missed classes are non-refundable and non-creditable. Our pricing is set to provide the best possible rate for full-term commitments, which is why we do not offer refunds, pay-as-you-go options, or credits for missed sessions. Exceptional circumstances may be considered for a refund, subject to a £10 admin fee. If Just Dive CIC cancels a class, a credit will be applied toward the next term. If credit cannot be used, a £10 refund fee will apply.



Late Payment Fees

Late payments incur a £10 fee.



Private Lessons - Additional Terms

Private lessons at Just Dive CIC HQ must be paid in advance. No refunds or credits will be given for missed sessions unless agreed upon in advance.



Adverse Weather

If Just Dive CIC cancels a class due to weather, a credit will be applied. If you cannot attend due to weather, no refunds or credits will be given.



Medical Conditions & Health Declaration

If you or your child are unwell, please do not attend the session. Children should refrain from swimming if they have had a fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, or any contagious condition within the last 48 hours. For long-term illness absences, please contact Just Dive CIC HQ to discuss options. If your child has autism, ADHD, or other neurodivergent needs, please complete the Neurodivergence Scale Assessment before beginning any sessions. This ensures we can provide the best possible experience and meet their needs effectively.



Child Behaviour Policy

Just Dive CIC is a swim training provider and not a caregiving service. We expect appropriate behaviour from all children to ensure a safe and productive learning environment. If a child repeatedly disrupts the class, a discussion will be held with the parent/guardian. Continued issues may result in removal from the program.



Health and Safety

A responsible adult must supervise children at all times. No running, eating, or gum-chewing in pool areas. Remove outdoor footwear before entering changing and poolside areas. Shower before entering the pool. Verrucas must be covered with a protective sock.



Spectator Information

Adults must remain in designated waiting areas. Spectators are not permitted unless previously agreed upon.



Changing Facilities

Use allocated changing rooms. Do not leave belongings unattended. Ensure changing areas are kept clear.



Child & Parent Class Guidelines

Children must arrive swim-ready and wait in designated areas. Parents in parent-and-child classes must wait poolside until invited into the water. No early entry into the pool.



Additional Class Information

  • Buggies & Prams: Must be left outside designated changing and pool areas. Items left are at your own risk.
  • Neoprene Over Nappies: Required for children not yet toilet-trained to prevent pool contamination.
  • Nappy Disposal: Follow venue-specific guidelines. If no disposal facilities are available, nappies must be taken home.



Personal Belongings

Just Dive CIC is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings.



Video and Photography

No general video or photography is permitted at any venue. However, parents and guardians are permitted to take photos or videos of their own child only, provided it does not include other children and is not disruptive to the session. Underwater cameras are not allowed. Just Dive CIC may take photos/videos for marketing purposes with prior consent. Preferences can be updated via the client portal.



Terms and Conditions Amendments

Just Dive CIC reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated via email, and the latest version will be available in the client portal.
